The List of Films
I made this list for a friend who wanted a suggestion for a movie. There are more I’d like to suggest but I don’t have Netflix anymore and clearly their titles weren’t memorable enough. Here are 15 of the greatest films of all time:
• Secret Things (French, 2002)
• Paris, je t’aime (French, 2006)
• Swimming Pool (French, 2003)
• Story of O (French, 1975)
• Eternal Sunshine on the Spotless Mind (US, 2004)
• Lost in Translation (US, 2003)
• The Dreamers (International, 2003)
• The Invisibles (US, 1999)
• What the Bleep do we Know!? (US, 2002)
• Secretary (US, 2002)
• Pan’s Labyrinth (Mexico, 2006)
• The Decline of the American Empire (French, 1986)
• Point & Shoot (US, 2004)
• Eyes Wide Shut (US, 1999)
• Waking Life (US, 2001)
Star
I had a dream about a friend I haven’t talked with in months. I’m wondering how she’s doing and if we’ll get a chance to see each other in December- I’m hoping so.

Welcome Winter with Fleet Foxes
This was my favorite song last winter. What better way to bring in the winter than with the Fleet Foxes’s?!
Three Great Shows from my childhood
Night Gallery
Twilight Zone
Tales from the Dark Side
This is the kind of stuff I would watch with my family. There’s clear evidence of this in my work ![]()

Music Video: Yeasayer – Ambling Alp
I’ve had this song on my computer for about two weeks but I finally stopped to look for the video. Wow. This is radballz!
Music Video: Flairs – Truckers Delight
Epic music video produced 8bits at a time
Download the song:

Grizzly Bear : Ready, Able [Official Music Video]
Lady Gaga – Bad Romance
I’m acyually liking Lady Gaga more and more. Her music doesn’t do much for me and her videos smell of “typical LA music video” but her presence and willingness to be different is admirable.
And it is always good to see her video from before she was a star:

Fly 16×9
I am in the middle two writing two film scripts. One is for a large budget film that I’ll be pitching in Hollywood. The other is for Fly.
I was contacted by Stephen at Fly 16×9 a few weeks ago. We met to feel each other out. I liked them, they liked me. I think our common ground is an overt appreciation for art. I think it is interesting that many people consider our work fashionable however both of us are not fans of how much of the fashion world lacks a basic understanding of concepts.
We met again and I threw them a few of my ideas for a few films. A couple ideas gelled with them and we decided to take one and move it to production. It’s a great piece and the script is getting more and more interesting as I work on it. I’m excited to work with this magazine. you can see more of their work here: Fly16x9.com
Video: Phoenix- 1901 Bo Flex’d (Passion Pit Remix)
I was looking up other new music when I stumbled on this one:
1901 is forever-old at this point but this remix was released about a week ago. I’m a huge fan of the music by Phoenix and I am always excited to see what they come up with next and who they inspire- imagine the sounds coming out influenced by this in the next 10 years!
Also- I have to say that I love Passion Pits sound too. They remind me of a road trip to Seattle I took when I was 21 with Allison, a girl I was dating at the time. We went to her cousin’s house and he had all this mixing gear in their apartment by University Bridge. It just has that ‘fresh and living” sound to it…
Video: The White Panda – What You Know About Little Secrets (T.I. vs. Passion Pit)
It’s new so it doesn’t have an official music video yet, but it sounds good and I’m sure it will find good visuals soon. I love it when you have genres collaborating together.
